Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?

No. Podiatrists are primary care providers so we do not require a referral. To see a podiatrist at Tammy Davis Podiatry it is as simple as calling (03) 5443 9211 to make an appointment, alternatively, you can email us on admin@tdpod.com.au.

What does a podiatrist do?

We deal with all foot and leg related problems.

We treat your feet and lower limbs! Whether you simply have trouble reaching your feet, or you have pain, a podiatrist is skilled to assess and treat all related problems.

Refer to our services page  for a list of problems that we can assist you with.

Does my Private health fund cover podiatry?

All private health funds cover different services within podiatry, and often your level of cover will determine if you are covered for podiatry. It is recommended to refer to your health fund’s Product Disclosure Statement or call them directly to find out if you are entitled to podiatry rebates.

For eligible members, we provide private health insurance rebates on the spot through our HICAPs terminal.

Will Medicare cover podiatry?

Medicare will pay a rebate for patients who have an EPC referral from their doctor. Patients will pay at the time of the service and the claim will be made at the clinic.
